The region’s story unfolds throughout the property, from the historic, poolside Adobe to the mid-century bungalows and rooms. The backdrop of soaring mountains and slender palms looks like a movie set, one that could have been built by the area’s many Hollywood expats. Centrally located just south of Downtown Palm Springs, The Paloma Resort offers easy access to all that the desert has to offer, from golf to shopping, festivals, hiking and nightlife.

This entire project was a great experience for me . Had alot of fun incorporating a natural elements with brilliant color schemes . The bold colors and magnificent sizes of these pieces really leaves an impression on all who walk around this property.
This new property had recently been purchased and was planned to renovated into a brilliant new Palm Springs culture and color themed hotel . Since this was to be a brilliant Palms Springs vibe hotel i knew the colors had to be as brilliant and flamboyant as Palm Springs is known to be.
During the design phase we quickly headed towards organic succulents being the main attraction .
Being a plant and succulent enthusiast myself, finding local inspiring plants came easily . The awesome shapes of these succulents with piercing thorns really complimented the spaces designated for these pieces .
Some of the massive cacti were quite the challenge. Client was very inspired by the beauty of these colossal desert specimens. So much so that I knew we could not leave them out of this space. Setting these cacti up for print did come with its challenges.
I wanted these colossal cacti to be very crisp and clean when printed . To achieve such a clean appearance setting up a clean mask around the thousands of prickly needles was mandatory. So after a few ours of fine crisp masking this prickly pink monster. Although it was a bigger challenge than I assumed it would be i was very grateful i took the time to leave an awesome outline.
